Well, for a car you basically have four options if you want to stick with a GM body. You have the brand new GTO, you have the F-body and you have the Vette. Obviously the F-body is the cheapest of them all, but there are other things you have to consider.

What other goals do you want with your ride? I can help you with your decision of truck vs car (I LOVE GM trucks)

well, i love the obs chevy pickups, esp the ext cabs (88-98). I would like to have something really low, very very fast, and very sharp on looks. i like straight lines, nice body lines, and soemthing that you wouldnt think would woop your ***, but it just did, like parish's truck.

I was going to recommend something like parish's, that thing is BAD-***. Ever thought of getting a clean Silverado 1500 2-door? Keeping some shitty rims and stock paint job on a pick-up goes a long ways into becoming a sleeper. Makes for good lightning hunting too

I love the seats in the GM trucks, you like fall into them. The GTO is a very comfertble GM car with the LS1, too.

I don't know about years and reliability, but there is a 6.0 V8 litre and a 8.1 litre V10.
