Default Man Ilove this site

I recently Bought a 1997 Z28 30th and I have found all the answers i had on this car on this site i even found out that the guy a bought it from is a member by searching around.

Well here's the stats on the car:
1997 30th Z28 A4, GTP S2 Heads, Cam, March Pulley, 3.73's, Flows, Crane Golds, SLP Cold Air, BBK 52mm TB , FLP STG IV Trans, Vig 3600, Mezier electric, Hooker Super Comps, Mufflex y, LS1 Drive Shaft, CC R Lifters, Trick Flow Push Rods, SVO 24's, ZO6 rims w/ Nitto drags, and all the free mods.

All this for $4500 he thougt it had a bad ring cause it smoked, but by searching this forum and contacting some peaple i found out it was a bad vacuum modulator allowing tranny fluid to get sucked into the intake.

Oh yeah anyone want to buy my old 1999 Mustand GT it's just to slow now! LOL

12.92 was my best time after the car was sitting for awhile. That was also with the bad vacuum modulator i can't wait to see what it does when it shifts right.

Yes this site is very bad. First it started with..hey I will just toss on a lid and do the free mods and then leave it alone. Then it was "Man look at how easy a cam swap is!" So along with the cam went headers and an ORY. Now it's "man I really would like to run e/t streets and be able to have this car hook up before the 1/8th mile" So it's rearend time along w/ clutch and suspension mods. TALK ABOUT MONEY PIT! All while building a 406 (.030 over pontiac 400) for my 79 Trans Am.

Thats cool that you found the original owner. I had never thought to try searching here. I have wanted to find the original owner since I bought my car. I bought it from a girl who was the second owner. She originally bought it at a dealership in Fla. and said the first owner had traded it in for an SUV or truck.

I too bought my car from someone here on the site(Fletch) and was able to get a little background info on the car(even though he was the 2nd owner).

Welcome over and yes, it is addicting!!! I've been a member here well over a year, and even though I don't post much, I do browse the forums a bit. Have fun!!!

I can't say that I remember him. I swerved to miss a dog and slid into a mailbox. You might have seen a 16 year old driving a silver TA, that was me. I used to have boyd timeless 5s on there but I switched over to some Black ZR1s.
