Monte converted to LS1 Whats up, right now I have a 87 Monte SS, that needs a lot of work. It was preety stout when it was in its prime...now the piston rings are shot and needs rebuilding, still not sure what I am going to do with her
Im in the Marine Corps deployed to Okinawa, JA, I leave here Feb 15 next year to CA, so I will need another car. Im lookin for a LS1 Camaro to buy in a couple months while Im on leave.

Hehe, no the 305 is long gone. Right now its got a basic 350/vortec/xe268 combo. Check out www.montecarloss.com Great site for 4th gen SS info.

HAHA!...They have video of my buddy's car, Twisted. We bought it from John Harrison way back when. He never ran it after the fire at Navasota. Now it's just sitting in front of my friend's garage, rotting away

Yeah, except my friend got it painted in Silver and we put all the SS graphics back on it. He pulled the motor to have it freshened up and never put it back in. He keeps saying he's gonna take it out again, after he gets the dulie tires tucked under the fenders....
