Exhaust cut-out. It is a part that is welded into the exhaust pipes whereever you want (as long as it fits) that allows to bypass the rest of the exhaust pipe to increase power. Many people put them right after the cats or after one cat and before the other (because of the location of the two cats on the Y-pipe).

It is 50 dollars and will get slightly more power than a cat-back, and will get you a lot more when compared to a muffler or even true duels if you start doing some head, cam, or displacement work.
