LS1 Brent...some words of advice...
Drive fast when appropriate, but be smart about it. Things can get out of control in a hurry.
I bought my first car when I was 15.I saved money from my paper route and bought a 1964 Impala SS 409cu. 425hp.I raced a guys brother when i was 15,i had no license.
My first race was against a 67 mustang built 289,beat him easily.
Once it gets in your blood, there's no turning back.I won't drive anything unless it's a V8 or bigger.
I'm 48 now and not slowing down.
Let us know when you get your LS1.

When I was younger all I would brag about is how I'm getting a ram air as soon as I turn 17. Well, I'm almost 18 ans I still dont have sh*t. ANd its all my fault. I got caught with some dope and wrecked my dads car. I did'nt plan on it happening but, it did. So, I have no T/A now and all kids always laugh at me for saying I was getting one. My point is dont say "I'm getting, ect". You can brag when the keys are in your hand, man. Untill then.............

I feel old saying that... I'm 18 now and i bought my Z when i was 17... 480 a month aint an easy payment but it's all good as long as my baby's parked in the driveway.
Oh yeah, PLEASE be careful with it... it can be EXTREMELY powerful and if you are slightly reckless, you will get hurt.
An interesting fact: You are guaranteed 100% that you will have an accident in your first 1000 hours of driving.
I'd wait til I hit 1001 before getting me a beautiful LS1 if i were you. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Oh and don't be ashamed of asking your parents for help. They're your parents and tehy are there to support you just as you will support them when you are older and they no longer work. Keep that in mind.
first 1000 hours? I've been driving for almost
14 years and never been in an accident. Never
been pulled over either. If you're safe, you
don't need to worry about your driving. Just
worry bout the other morons on the road.
