New guy to GM Used to own a thunderbird supercoupe (still do), it was totalled after the abs failed. I don't want anything to do with a ford vehicle anymore, other than the well deserved status of my winter beater. All of my friends that have owned gm's that weren't tinkered with were/are very good cars. I live in western PA and plan on becoming a frequent on these forums. Reason #1 why I want a trans am is beacase of it's sound, there is nothing on earth like it. When I eventually get my hands on the right one it's getting the prime exhaust treatment. Anyways, nice to be part of the forums.

Welcome aboard man... I think we get quite a few people on this board that switch over from Ford based on quality issues. After watching my parents struggle with Ford for years, there was no way I could ever buy a Ford, especially after my dad's F250 BLEW UP. Don't be afraid to ask any questions on this board... but don't forget to search for it before you ask it. Other than that... prepare for your productivity at home and work to go down the tubes... YOU'RE IN OUR WORLD NOW!

Why did you get rid of yours for a t/a? 
Welcome, Just remember dont buy the first one you come by. Look around and get exactly what you want. I didn't get the exact color I wanted but I did get the year, miles and price I wanted. I was looking for close to 3 months.
I have owned 4 F.O.R.D vehicles and I currently drive one everyday ('03 F150). I agree, they suck. I bought my '94 T/A in '97 and have never looked back. I will take the small problems that GM vehicles have over the HUGE problems that F.O.R.D. has.
