Default New to this forum.

Just wanted to pop in and say that I was new to the site. I live in Northern California, I am 28 years old, and I have 2 F-bodies. I have a 2002 Sunset Orange Metallica Firebird Formula that I ordered from a local dealership brand new. It is my toy and baby that gets pampered with Zano and garaged. I have 18K miles on her and I got the car on Dec 27th, 2001. I also have a 1999 30th Ann Trans Am that my girlfriend bought brand new in May of 1999. It is fully loaded with an automatic, that is of course her baby, I just get to take care of it. I use nothing but syn. fluids in the cars and we drive them occasionally with our car club runs. My girlfriend drives a 1997 Mistu Eclipse Spyder everyday for her "beater" car. I have a company vehicle that is a 2003 Ford F-150 that I drive everyday. I am into modifing my 2002 firebird, but the 30th just gets a few bolt-ons because we like to keep that one pretty much stock. I sold my 1994 Trans AM GT with 80K miles on it, that was a good car to me, and I drove the **** out of it. I definitely like the LS1 a lot better than the LT1, but that LT1 took a beating. I took it the local strip a few times, and I autocrossed it (my favorite) a few times. I hope to get a lot of information off of this forum, and I also hope to help out any way I can if people have questions that I might be able to share my experiences with.
Thank you everyone.

Okay, you twisted my arm on the pictures. Now, the question is, how do I post pictures? I have a ton of pictures on some CD's at home (and on my PC's HD) so there are plenty of pictures to go around. I have some new pictures of the NOS kit on my Formula that I have yet to develop. I mounted the 15lb bottle in the spare tire well, and the nozzles are up front in the air lid. Right now I have the purge going out towards the front of the car down low, but I am going to mount the purge going out the hood of the car.

Now, can someone give me some directions on how to post pictures, I am not that computer literate?

Thanks for the remarks, I hope to help in any way I can.

Hey 94LT1TA, I drove through Portland a couple of times on my way to Everette WA for the Western Washington Firebirds car show up there, that is a cool city during the day. How do you like it? I heard they have a lot of breweries up there. MMM BEEER!

SOM Formula, one of my favorite 4th gens ever. I'd like a SOM Formula Firehawk someday to add to the collection.

To post pics, when you reply go into the "advanced reply" mode and then there is a selection where you can manage attachments. It should upload the pics right off your PC unless the sizes are too big.

Nine ball - I was this close (if you can't see my fingers, they are an inch apart) to ordering my Formula with the Firehawk package. My salesmen had one, so I didn't really want to copy, also, for $6K, I can put on some nice mods on my car. As much as I like the Firehawk, I like the sleeper aspect of the Formula. Of course now with my exhaust and the WS6 hood, I don't think it qualify's as a "sleeper" anymore.

94LT1TA- That would be great. Likewise if you come down, PM me and I will hook you up here in SAC. I even have cold beer on tap!

Thank you. It took me 2+ months to get the car, but it was worth it. Zaino and a garage helps keep it looking nice.

Man your car looks sweet! If I had to do it all over again I would have ordered my Formula in SOM. Mine is a '00 and that color wasn't available then. I bought off the lot one of the last available '00 Formula M6 hardtops in the southeast U.S. Dealer tried to sell me a Firehawk too, didn't have $$$ tho. Shoulda waited for the '01s. Missed out on LS6 intake too.
Oh, well that'll teach me to be impatient.
