New LT1 guy here....
My car has been a work in progress over the last 4 years ive owned it. I just added the 12 bolt truck rear that I modded to fit the car. That was fun
I recently freshened the motor at the same time...... I got 4 passes at the track on the new set up last fall with the slicks and I am still learning how to drive! The first 3 passes, I just smoked the tires through the 60' foot mark. Then, on my last run, I decided to extend my burnout into second gear and I finally got the tires to hook nicely. Only this time I bogged the car out of the hole, not expecting it to hook so well. So, next time, I know the technique.....heat 'em a lot and dump the clutch at 4k rpm!Oh.....AND, I am HALF thinking about selling to start a new project.....so email if your interested.

On a "Mustang" dyno ....no hollywood horsepower......460something HP and 560 Ft/lbs to the wheels. I may run it on a dynojet this spring for the hollywood numbers.......probably 520/600.
