New LT1 guy from Indiana What's up guys, I've been a member for awhile but never really posted much. I figured I'd go ahead and introduce myself. I'm from South Bend, but I go to school in Muncie. I have a 97 Z28. Hope to settle in and start posting a little more.

Hey what's up? I live in the village in the apartments right next to Jimmy John's. We should definately meet up and go to the track, I was there about every Wednesday last season. Nice to find another fbod guy at Ball State, seems like there are none of us around.

I mostly go to Osceola, but the every Wednesday I was referring to was at Muncie. The times are all motor, just a little heads/hotcam setup. The 12.16 was at muncie last fall on BFG Comp TA ZRs, wish I would have had some drag radials or et streets for that pass so I could actually hit the converter a little bit. I feel like the setup has 11s in it with some tires, new O2s, and a bigger throttle body.

holy **** man, those times are definately impressive, what kind of mods do you have? do you have a site or somethin? Ive actually never been to muncie drag strip, never actually knew where it was. Do you have the car at school? Id like to check it out sometime!

It was at school for a little while last fall, now its at home in the garage. Muncie Dragway was actually way nicer than I thought it was gonna be, lots of nice cars and the track hooks well. Sometime in April when it's open we can meet up and go out there, I can show you where it's at. As far as my car, it has some ported LT1 heads with 2.02/1.60 valves, hotcam with 1.6rrs, vigilante 3200 stall, and bolt ons with an xpipe. Hopefully I can add some new parts to the list this spring.

That thing is gonna love those heads! I'll bet you'll love the improvement! Do you ever have your car in Muncie? I'd like to see it. Sounds pretty stout! Mod wise i'd like to go with the gm847, up the stall to 4000, and hit it with a decent shot. I'd kinda like to go 11s on motor with this setup first though.

I am a senior, but I will graduate next December. I will be in South Bend mostly this summer, but I will probably be up in Muncie at the apartment occasionally also. I hear ya about the fuel efficiency! How about you, what year are you, and will you be around in Muncie this summer, or back in Mich City?

If you are gonna be around April 2nd (Saturday), it is the first day Muncie opens. I'm gonna head out there, I can take you and show you where its at.
