First timer
Heres a little info about me and my wheels,
Im still driving my first car during the week and to school, an '86 Fiero GT. Its white w/ the 4spd and besides a few minor blemishes, that occured while working on it, it looks pretty much new. We've spent about 10 grand messing with this thing (dumb idea I know) but I was tired of having a stock car, oh yeah and the tranny shattered a gear so we had to fix that anyway. In the meantime my dad sent the motor to Anderson Racing where they have engine kits for Fieros. It was a 2.8 but we had it upgraded with their 3.4 liter stroker kit, using the stock block so it looks completely stock. That was ok but whoever put the motor back together tightened the springs too tight and messed up some stuff so we took it back awhile later and they did it all again, but charged a little less this time. Anyway I feel like Im rambling so I'll just cut to the chase - Its got the 3.4, 4:10s, Flowmaster, bigger cam, wider tires, 5% tint, and than a
<04 Mustang GT... A few weeks ago I just got my dream car! White 02 WS6 (only 9000 miles)...finally! Im pumped about doing things to it and have been lookin around here for ideas to get started. Im thinking this summer I'll just go w/ some kind of lid and cat back but Im still trying to decide which to go w/. My funds are going to get low as soon as all the paper work gets done and I start making payments/sales tax etc... so I gotta keep the mods somewhat cheap for awhile. Any suggestions you guys have for me to get started would be great. I know exhaust sound is a personal preference, but w/ more air coming in the other end what kind of hp gains have you seen from Corsa/Borla and if you've heard both which sounds toughest? I need to make the TA sound better than the Fiero (because it sounds like a v8 w/ the lumpy cam and everything)!
Thanks for any input and this site is awesome, good job everyone!
