Greetings from Pittsburgh, PA Hello everyone! I finally got an F-body after waiting 10 years. Ever since I started driving 10 years ago I wanted one but could never afford the car or insurance. So, in the interim I drove rice rockets. Some were fast (Supercharged Honda Civic, WRX) and others were fast pieces of crap ('90 Talon AWD and a '96 Talon AWD) but I always had an empty space in my heart that only some american iron could fill. Well, that empty space is now filled with a hardtop 1998 Z28 A4 with 97k miles on the odometer. I always said I would never own a car with an automatic transmission but city driving has changed my thinking.
The whole time I was dabbling in the rice fields I was secretly lurking on all the F-body message boards dreaming of owning one someday. Well here I am! I look forward to learning more about these cars and getting my hands dirty.
I purchased my car knowing that the rear end was leaking but from what I've gathered it's pretty normal. I haven't determined yet where exactly it's leaking from but I do intend to make an attempt at fixing it. I have some tech q's but I'll start a different thread for them.
