I've Seen The Light 
With winter approaching, a high horsepower convertible as a daily driver makes perfect sense to me...

Hmmm, I'm starting to see a correlation of this mysterious "new member" you spoke of in the Southern Section, Kwik. Reformed the man , have you? Incidentally, technical, we do have rather nasty winter storms in TN . At least one or two a year.

1st: You bought the SS, and let me drive it
2nd: You came light, staying stock with the 345 horsepower SLP options, that's insulting...
3rd: And this is the most important...you should have dusted me when you had the chance

JuJu: I've got a friend with a 2000 Corvette Convertible as his daily driver, he has no garage, and says driving is really bad a only few days of the year...being self employed, I won't fire myself for staying home and researching spring time mods on those 3 horrid winter days

We don't get hit as bad in the Eastern part of the state, juju hogs all of the pretty white stuff for himself.
I've lived in K-town for 17 yrs. and we've only had one bad snow-storm that shut everything down for 3-days back in '93!!! Other than that, a few flurries here & there, but it always melts asap.

You are probably one of those "I have a classic limited edition so I'm leaving it stock" types --- can't blame you for that, yours is probably the coolest F-Body ever made, IMHO...
With that in mind, you probably don't wanna risk messing up your car by all out racing, so I'll say anytime... and remember:
You mess with the REINDEER, you get the ANTLERS.
