new to the LS-1 world

Hey all Im new to the world of LS-1's and yes i am in the prosses of building one up for my 87 S-10. Im wanting to learn as much as i can, and hopfully get some god parts aswell on here.

a little about my ride, its an 87 s-10 reg cab short box, and curently has a 350 with a 700R4 tranny modded to hell. havn't had much luck with the curent motor so I decised to put the dime under the knife and see what happens when something better replaces the crap motor.... I don't have any good pics of it yet, but I will soon I hope

Welcome to the boards. I've also got an S-10. She's a 98 with the vortec 4.3 but it's ok cause she is the dd. Love to put an ls1 in her one day. Good luck with the swap.
