not sure about track numbers, never been on a track... but I've done 0-60 in about 5 seconds... and 100mph doesn't even feel like it, car is pretty smooth

not sure what I have planned for it - not much out there for it at this point, other than exhaust and maybe a K&N setup.

but seeing as how my wife and I BOTH got new cars (she got a '06 Equinox), we get payments for xmas, so no extra money at the moment anyway

thanks!

Yeah, it's a 5.3L V8 - 303hp - 323ft-lbs torque.

they're 18" bright-polished wheels with Goodyear Eagle RS-A W-speedrated tires (168mph).

Sticker was $31K, got the employee discount, put some cash down, got the 5yr/75K extended warranty, so the total out the door was about $26K - that's counting the cash I put down... total financed was about $21k.

My wife loves the Equinox so far - she's still getting used to it. She went from a Neon to the Equinox, so there's a little bit of a learning curve there

I drove it and it's pretty nice - pretty good power with that 3.4L V6 in there, plus we have the AWD. drives nice, good room in it.

thanks Vendetta!

yes, it's FWD. normal driving is fine, just like any other FWD car... but you do notice some torque steer when you really get on it from a stop or slow roll - gotta hold onto the wheel with your whole hand (or both hands), not just a couple fingers on the center spoke - cuz it does pull. but man, does it really GO!! really gets up there quick man... and even when you're already rolling along at 65mph, a tap on the pedal gets you up to 85+ in no time! er... so I've heard

If they didn't tell you that it had it, you wouldn't even know it - can't feel a thing. It's kinda cool to watch the DIC and see when it switches between 4 and 8 cyl.'s, and see your economy go way up...

on 8 it shows about 16mpg+/-.... just cruising... really getting on it causes it to drop to about 4mpg

on 4, it shows it at about 26mpg or higher... I've seen mine go into the 30's and even low 40's when using cruise control...

not planning on any track time - don't wanna kill it already LOL

this is my first "sports car" that I've owned, so I'm new to the whole performance thing... except for an old '77 chevy stepside pickup that had a 454 in it ;-)

anyway, so yeah, this is all new to me...

thats alright. you will take it there eventually thats just the way it works, especially if u have other friends with sports cars. so when u end up getting down there some time let us know what it runs, i want to know if it will beat the new mustang GT.
