Import Driver acceptable?
Slo240sx- I have been thinking about putting a ls1 in a 240, always loved those cars. is it worth the hassle on getting it in or any pointers.

oh and to clarify. i am not complaining about $400 / 6 months.. i was complaining about my truck insurance that was 900 / 6 months. I LOVE 400 / 6 MONTHS. i got quoted on a z28 and a ws6 and it was 1100 / 1300 per 6 months on the plan i'm on..
So yeah, once i graduate in 3 or 4 semesters its torque-a-rama.
And yea i think its funny because its a common misconception ( or atleast i perceive it as being one) .. even on the import sight i am subscribed to (www.honduh.com - primarily 98-02 accords ) we make fun of rice. It seems the whole automotive community makes fun of rice and the only ones that dont know it... are the rice.

EchoMirage : yea i'm pretty sure oklahoma is like the lowest income (on average) state.
Cost of living is lower.. but so is our income.. i make 9.50 an hour and work very part time and make more than a lot of my friends do working almost full time.
Black01_WS6, There are a couple of threads concerning the 240 LS1 swap. To be totally honest I think its gonna be easy I just do a whole **** load of homework so I'm not stuck sitting there wondering what to do.

Yupp, my '01 SS and my '04 Jetta GLI. Pretty zippy for a four banger with a small turbo. And I love 'em both.
By the way: update on the SS. Hotcam and a 100 shot.
370 hp, 357tq na.
468 hp, 505tq on spray. That thing hauls ***. Unfortunately my clutch has an extremely difficult time now. Any recommendations as far as uprades go, guys??
