Well, I for one don't consider a slightly modded Honda "rice" I consider it a slightly modded Honda.."rice" is far and beyond simple modding
let me link you someone that says it FAR better then I can ( well said it first anyhow)
[quote] Rice-Boy is a stereotype. The typical Rice-Boy can be identified by his car, or rather what he does to it. Generally, Rice-Boy will start out with a car that was not meant to go fast (typically a Honda Civic), and attempt to "fix it up," usually consisting of aftermarket rims, lowering springs and an aftermarket exhaust system with a large exhaust tip.
Most Rice-Boy cars (or "Rice Rockets") have the usual complement of stickers proudly displaying features that the car might or might not have, most notably, the Honda VTEC sticker from the later model Preludes, and the plaques from the later model Integras.
Rice-Boys do not exclusively drive Japanese cars. There are quite a few fake Mustang '5.0's and Camaro Z28's out there, as well as quite a few strange looking Neons.
For more in depth discussion .. http://www.riceboypage.com
Having said all that, Welcome man, I cannot find fault with anyone that has an appreciation for one of the major inventions of the century )
..get's ready for the pain.. Besides, they make more Hondas and Toyotas here now then they do Fords and Chevys.. Least if feels that way some days

an imapala? I haven't heard that before.. some dude at the car wash told m e it looked like a lexus haha. i was like.. umm ok thanks !
whiteknightz28: hahah c02.. we dont drive beebee guns! well i kind of do, but you dont! seriously i'd like to hear his argument also. i'd also like to see how much it costs. and how fast it blows his car into smithereens (sp.?)
01T-TopToy: haha yeah i hear that.. and its a good explanation.. however comma i know its an endless money pit.. but the idea of making a grocery getter (my car) to run 12s or 13s is kind of fun to entertain. swap in an h22 (prelude engine) lower c.r. and turbo i can get ~400whp in a 3000 lb car 13s are easy.
However thats about 10 gs worth of mods there and i have about 0.01 gs to spend. haha

Welcome to the board. I can't find fault with anyone who has an appreciation for cars. I'm sure most of the members like me have a love for all kinds of cars. There are even a few imports that I wouldn't mind owning. I just happen to love my trans am more
P.S. I even use to drive american rice! Don't hate me for it though =)
