New LT1 Guy. Greetings,
My interest in cars began about 8 or 9 months ago when I was convinced to buy a 1994 Firebird Formula because of a certain friend of mine demeaning domestic cars. Since I've purchased it, I've been doing my best to learn and correspond with people who have the same interest. I'm currently working on building the vehicle up now - it's in the shop.
I know this is an LS tech forum but the LT1 forum isn't active, so I hope you don't mind my joining to learn a few things
About me: I have a fully forged bottom end on my LT1 - 8.5-1 forged pistons, forged connecting rods, forged crank. Lots of stuff was done during the rebuild; we replaced everything. It's a 355. I got a great deal from a friend on an STS turbo kit fully loaded and purchased it. I plan on doing the pipe work myself when I get an intercooler. Upgraded the fuel system and went with a Moser 12-bolt (1350 yolk 33 spline). I've got a list of smaller mods like crossd drilled & slotted rotors, custom hood scoop, short-throw shifter, z06 wheels, 8 pt. roll cage, rebuilt trans, spec stage 3 clutch, etc. etc. Hope to get a few good ideas from this forum!

Yeah the lt1 guys on here are pretty active when our cars arent being called slow. 
Its a big deal on this board when an LTX car breaks out of the 13's so consider yourself one of the lucky few J/K.
