Another newbie Hello everyone,
I joined the forum due to the fact I am in awe of any performance oriented powerplant. I think LS series are pinnacle of pushrod technology. I own and drive a 97 Supra tt 6spd bpu +++ and I have raced a few LS powered cars . I have nothing but love and admiration for them. I also have a 1968 Datsun Roadster that will require engine transplant. I am seriously considering LS as an option , I just need an industrial strength/sized shoehorn and gallons of ky . You all know a 96 hp engine with 40 yr old technology is lacking in performace as well as its lifespan. If anybody could pm or post a physical dimension iwould greatly apperciate it.

black01_WS6 and orangeapeel , looking both of your sigs you guys must have one badasss rides,I meant had for black01_WS6 case .I would love to pick up either SS or WS6 but with my current situation I would have to sell my beloved Supra. I don't know if I could go from one project to another.I look at every performance oriented cars as a forever on going project. I don't know about you guys but I'm never satisfied even if I was in aposition to have an exotic car's likes of Ferrari, Mclaren, Bugatti or whatever, you know I 'll be tweeking it to extract more mojo out of it . I'll probally stick a big *** fart can tail pipe and clear corner lens and rice it out.

I 'm kinda suprised that there are no ricer bashing comments yet ,considering the fact I'm from the darkside . Hey lsevenl my Supra isn't badass ,far from it ,compared to most Supra's out there with their big single Turbo . My car is tame , lame docile pussycat, infact I would imagine that most people in this forum has more rwhp and rwtq and in turn would murder me in any street race( not that I condone that kinda juvenile behavior )
My mods are:
Drag Skyline Trust Fmic (not greddy although same company I think), AEM EMS standalone , HKS intake , Greddy Power Extreme catback exhaust, Tanabe dp
and Goodyear F1 racing slicks to compensate for my **** poor launching .
My car is hibernating for winter and man I miss driving it !! Unfortunately I can't drive the car here in Oregon with all this rain with my slicks . I know that I would loose it and then it would truly be a Poopra!!
