Default New from Wyoming

Howdy from Wyoming,

Just bought my wife a 2001 Z28 with the 6 speed (100% untouched with 23K miles). She wanted something fun again so we got rid of her lifted 2 dr Tahoe. She had a 88 IROC convert that she drove for 8 years before the Tahoe and wanted a Camaro again. She also has a 69 Camaro SS that I have torn apart for many upgrades (it was her everyday driver 18 years ago). We are car people and have many projects so I am sure mods will be along shortly.

Just wanted to say this is a GREAT site!

Allen

Projects:
69 Camaro SS
- 454, T56, Hot Rods to Hell rear sus, tube a-arms, coilovers, etc...much to be done
65 Cutlass convert

81 CJ9 Scrambler
- 350 TPI, 465m 4sp, dana 300, Dana 60 frnt, 14 blt rear, detroit locker in frnt and rear, much to be done
32 Chevy

14.1 - great stock time! You see a bunch of modified 60s cars slower than that. Hopefully I can get this one close to a low 14 as well. I had a 66 Chevelle with a mild 396 that would go 14 flat and was still a great street car (drove it to work a bunch) but this Camaro is much better; capable of 14s and I got 27.7 mpg when I went to Denver to visit some family. Wow what a car.

Thanks for the info.

In Cheyenne, about 45 miles from Laramie. It is 26 degrees and snowing. What brings you out west? I spent a few weeks in Augusta in 2001, I remember a great dragstrip in Jackson SC.

Let me know if you need info or have questions about the area.

That was my guess as well and we are correct! It's a pretty cool place, I have been to the streetrod part a number of times. Wish I had a shop like that!!
