I've been persuing the forums the past week or so, soon to be driving an LS1. Started out with a couple Mustangs, got a 2V into the 12s n/a, blew up the rear then the car started pissing me off. Sold it a couple months ago and got a G35 coupe. I love the car but it sounds funny and its not a V8. Its for sale and I'm looking to get into an FRC. I know most of the Tallahassee f-bod people with a little bit of experience on LT and LS1s. Who ever heard of buying a Corvette to lower your car payments, eh?

I've got a lot of reading to do.

Whats up zinc? what gen vette are you looking to get into? And are you looking more into the lt1 or ls1? you can get into a 4th gen lt1 for less than a 5th gen ls1, but it depends what year your looking at. I would go with the first year 5th gen ls1, you'd get a good price if you got one at the right place and you would still have a newer power plant than the last year of the 4th gen.

and I think I heard that lt1s had some kind of internal problem, but i may be wrong.
