Another newb (Well, not really). Hello all! My name is Mike, and I hail from beautiful Seattle, WA. I'm kind of a noob--I've been reading LS1tech for a while and lurking... 
and finally decided to join up. I've posted over on fbody.com as IROC2fast4u for about 5 years. . . figured it's time to show my face over here as well 
So yeah. . . my two cars are:
-'88 IROC-Z convertible, 305 TPI that ran a best of 14.9 @ 92 (not bad for a 305, huh?) but that one is currently undergoing a resto since a truck smashed it
-94 Z28, quazar blue. A few mods, but nothing special. It'll be going to the track this weekend, but with my poor driving skillz w/ stick I'll probably run a mid 14
. . . The thing that got me interested in the LS1, though, is my dad's car (bought it new in '00). It's a 2000 FRC 'vette with lots of go-fast goodies. It's fun
and I learned to drive stick on it. That was a LONG time ago and I barely see the car anymore now since I'm done w/ college and on my own, but that car was SO much fun!
