im new here and wanted to say hi
i have alot of experiance with 3rd gen f-bods
still learning on my 4th gen
any advice other than swaping a LS1 would be appreciated

I have read several places about the swap, in fact I will be involved with one very so, little advise, swap the dash as well, fits with little modification and allows you to use the stock guage cluster, for a more reasonable plug and play set up.

also their is great info on 3rd gen.org about the swap. There is a great sponcer here to the right that custom wires the harness, asa well as deletes some of the not needed wiring. Also I would recommend getting the hp tune for the year cpu you are planning on running. Obviuosly a 2001 and newer ls1 is your best bet. Get one from an fbody, so you can save the oil pan. good luck
