Youngsta What's up everybody. I'm new here and came to learn some new stuff about the ls1's. I don't have one right now but I wanna get one soon. Right now I got a red 94 Camaro with only the v6. What I'd like to get is maybe a 97 anniversary edition in nice condition and put a ls1 in it. I want to fix one up really nice and keep it in showroom condition but anyways im from Ohio and im only 20. My Camaro is my 4th car and the only one that was over 1g. LoL. It costed me about 5g almost 2 years ago. Was a very nice car when I got but about a year ago I was driving down the road and this lady slammed on her brakes at a stoplight which I got everything fixed just never got the bumper painted so its black but people think its a bra. LoL. Here's some pics before I got in an accident. I don't have any with it after.

It's all stock. I'm not going to do nothing with it cause I wanna get a 97 and put a ls1 in it. I've done some stuff too it lately. I've change the transmission fluid/filter/gasket, pcv valve, air filter, plugs and wires, oil and filter. I've been wanting to do the radiator but aint had the time. Has about 140k miles I think. Runs perfect. No struggling or hesitation. I think its kinda fast cause its the fastest i've had LoL. I've beat newer mustang gts with it. Guess i'd call this my experiment car but ever since the day I got it i fell in love with it.
Needs some new rear tires which you probably already know why and needs a new exhaust system. It cracked where the y-pipes go into the cat. So I took it off and fixed it and then the muffler blew out but still sounds good but it need a new complete exhaust system. LoL

man, 97? ehh, aniversary edition is way over rated, why not just get a 98 or 02 and already own the ls1? Then you have to worry about all the transplant issues. Welcome to the site.
I like the older style front ends. Plus i'm only 20 the higher i go the higher the insurance. When I first got my car 2 years ago i paid 390 a month for full coverage. It's been 2 years n its still at 180 a month. So if I got a newer one I think the insurance would go way back up. Plus I want to get a ls1 and take it apart and rebuild it myself. Wanna learn how to do all that kinda stuff.
