New from Elgin, IL

Welp figured now was as good of time as any to introduce myself! I'll be picking up a stock 01 Z28 M6 MMM with 67K miles in a few days. I cant wait to finally get into a car I can be proud of!

I gotta say that I originally wanted a 2nd gen 300zx TT but have since sobered up and realized that nothing beats having an AMERICAN pedigree!

I've already learned a lot here!! Hope to see some Chicago area people around!

Thanks for the welcome! Yeah I have a feeling I'm gonna enjoy the Z28 A LOT more than the 300zx! Hope to see some of you guys around after the 4th!

Welcome. I say Elgin and I thought it was the one close to me. Their is an Elgin, Tx too. They got some bad *** barbque. You don't know nothing about that. Barbque up north is hoddogs and hambugers.

Its different tastes i'm sure, like deep dish or something. I didn't like the pizza I had when I was in NY. I grew up loving the pizza here.

welcome from way south in the state. I also share your want of a 300zx...but ive always had american and truly know that an LS1 will rock 300 *** all day long.

Thanks for the welcomes! Just to clear things up I know what REAL BBQ is! I grew up in the sticks in Oklahoma and Arkansas, so I'm no stranger to the southern side of food!
