Default Semi sad intro LS2 swap coming up

Hi,

I just picked up a 2006 CTS-V the 6 month old car had a terrible mishap with a tree. Poor car was just parked and the tree fell on it.

Now why I bought the car

The car drives fine but can not be fixed. I am thinking of putting the engine in my 67 RS/SS and pulling out the BBC thats in it. Or finding an 03 or 04 CTS and swapping over the parts.

If I go the camaro route I will be taking everything off that can be unbolted and then some. I figure some things will be needed by people in the future. The sunroof, door panels, seats etc. are all mint in most peoples cars now but in 3 or 4 years they will need these things. I am reading like crazy about these LSx's now and will go from old school to new tech happily.

Sucks to see a nice car screwed up like that. Luckily it looks like there are plenty of salvageable parts to recoup, though

Why isn't it repairable?! A good frame and body shop should be able to fix that right up, probably easier and cheaper than swaping it all into a regular CTS.
