To Hell With Imports!!!
#42
Just a little FYI for all the ladies that drive a 350z. Your car was probably made in the USA. What?!!! Yeah, for some time now Nissan has been manufacturing cars and trucks in the mid-west. Although I'm not sure what state the plant is in, never really cared that much to remember. So, if you really want to get fancy about it, you could call your 350's domesticated rice. But the biggest thing that confuses me about this is how Nissan argues that manufacturing here is more cost effective. Seeing how everyone over there makes 50 cents a day.?!!!

Yes, so many of the members of this board give a frog's fat *** what "Import Tuner" magazine has to say.
No offense dude, but if I'm not mistaken that's the same mag a guy I used to work with would bring in. He'd get 7 kinds of P.O.ed at us because we'd make fun of them for dropping literally like $10,000 into a turbo RX-7 and pull out 17 HP and 4 LB/TQ. They would never race the cars, 1/4mi or otherwise they didn't do anything other than bolt on a couple parts and "dyno" though I never saw any dyno sheets just what they said. I'm sure the 350Z has potential, but so does anything else if you have the money.
To hell with potential, run whatcha brung and hope ya brung enough!

I had a 02 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE w/ XS Headers, Magnaflow catback, Nismo CAI, SWA 13oz pulley, Apexi SAFCII piggyback tuned to 13.2 AFR and was only gettin 248fwhp/257 fwtq and spent about $3200 dollars to only get 45hp/50wtq and get a 14.02 1/4 mi....lol I'm glad I totaled it Got my Formula and have loved every minute of it..... I ran low to mid 13's easily BONESTOCK for free....LOL I've spent about $1300 so far for engine bolt on's and ran a 12.91 in mid 80 deg. weather....I love the way these LS1's respond to bolt on's so far.....Can't wait to cam it IMO U won't miss the 350Z at all.....

How about the world's fastest street legal 350Z?
And my friend had an 03 track version before he got rid of it for a vette. What a joke. It was $36,000 and my car stock ran circles around it in every way and didn't sound like a blender (which probably has more torque than the Z btw)

It was a GT with different wheels and a billet fuel door. I didn't like the front clip they put on that thing at all.
