Default NewB from the East

I own a few mustangs and a 66 Custom 500. Came here to see what was going on since there seems to be a bunch of LS1 guys visiting the Mustang forums. Nice guys. I love drag racing and fast cars, so i figured this would be a great place to talk with folks who share my passion.

WELCOME!!

One thing I've been meaning to ask Terminator owners, are there any ways to lower the weight on those things without losing streetability and spending a king's ransome?? What about cost no object? Are there carbon fiber/kevlar body panels available? Alloy suspension/chassis parts? It just seems that weight is one of the very few drawbacks to those sick rides, and one would not have to add as much power if the mass could be reduced. Just thinking/curious. Thanks.

Let me know what you find out. i have no suggestions. Currently all I've done is remove the back seat, but that's not a helluva lotta help...
