I finally decided to register here on LS1tech, even though I don't have anything in the V8 range right now. There's alot of good information on here and I decided that if I need to ask any tech questions, this would be a great opportunity to just go ahead and get registered now.
I'm currently in Lubbock, TX and taking a bit of a break from school. I partially own my 2000 V6 Firebird as the other part is in the steely hands of my bank until it is paid off. Nothing special on it except for a nice little whisper lid. Maybe later I'll join the big boys club, but you've gotta pay to play.
I've been around alot of the 'horsepower' crowd in my life as my dad used to drag race when we had the money. He currently restores and modifies corvettes. Even managed to get one beast inside Vette Magazine. Love the cars and the power, I just can't afford to do any of that yet. Good things come to those who wait eh?
I admire alot of the cars on here, plenty of variety and quality work done in alll departments of performance and appearance.

Thanks guys, those are comissioned Vettes. He does it for a living, gets to play with other people's cars and money hehe. Thumper was about a 750bhp monster, had a 1000cfm Dominator Carb and then dropped the intake to a 750cfm Edelbrock EFI setup. Still was a mean bugger with that 548 cid rat stuffed in there.
