New to the Club Hello all, my name is Chris and I'm in the Illinois area (southern for college and chicago land during the offseason). Last night I just picked up my first ls1 powered vehicle, a 99 M6 NBM z/28. The car seems to be in real good shape so far with just over 91k miles on it. But, I came to find that nearly half of these miles were put on the car within the last 2 years (previous owner used it as a DD and drove ~100 miles a day). Not too shabby if I do say so myself, especially considering I got it for 7200.
Though I'm new to owning an f-body, I'm fairly familiar with the engines as I work the summers at D&M Corvette Specialists in Downers Grove, IL. For the past week or so I've been reading through thread after thread trying to learn more about these cars, since they're quite a bit different than my 87 supra turbo.

If anyone has any suggestions, advice, comments, opinions or just feel like bashing, feel free.
