new kid here Hello, im new to this forum. I usually dont use forums but i thought this one could give some advice as to what i should and shouldnt be doing with my car. I'm 17 now and i got my 1998 camaro Z-28 LS1 M6 when i was 15 and have loved it ever since. My dad, back in his day, had a '68 camaro when he was around my age so im just continuing the tradition. For my 16th it got a Hurst shortthrow shifter, and as of recently i finally managed the funds to get the "flowpac" from slp, the first true performance upgrade in i hope a long list to come. Being the young driver i am, im still mastering (and probably will for life) shifting and such, right now im getting heel-toe downshifting about right (idk if im doing it wrong but since im a size 13 shoe i reversed the positioning of my right foot, is that bad?), and just trying to make every shift with perfect smoothness. I consider myself a responsible person, more specifically one with hindsight. This has kept me from killing myself or wrecking my car, and kept me from the world of street racing (18th birthday i can goto track cant wait woohoo!). And yes, im happy to say atleast at my high school american muscle still rules the parking lot. I know that this is a monster post but oh well.
