newb with pics switching engines!! i posted this in another forum but since this is my first real post i thought i would put it here too
i have a white 98 camaro z28 m6 that is getting a new engine. we are taking the engine out of my husbands (code4) 2001 camaro and putting it in mine. so now my new engine will be: a 01 ls1 with aprox. 30,000 miles on it, long tube headers, true dual exhaust with an x pipe, 224 cam, basically if there is a mod to be done we have done it.
so far in our process we have pulled the 98 engine out and are doing some cleaning and polishing. we will be starting on pulling the 01 engine tomorrow or the next day.

several reasons there, the 98 has 125,000 miles on it, the 01 engine has a lot more horsepower and shane is building a new turbo engine for the red camaro.
