Hey guys i figured i should introduce myself since ive already made way into other forums here lol. My names Brad and im out of SE TX and currently participating in the new bandwagon of swapping an LSX into my Nissan 240sx. Ive already learned a great deal about a motor i thought to be ancient muscle car technology(pushrods) and how bad they really are. Overall the folks on this forum are very welcoming and knowledgeable which makes this forum pretty cool for a noob like me. So thats my story and im sticking to it

Welcome! My previous car was a S13 240SX, I sold it to an LS1tech member who had immediate plans to swap out the KA24E and stick an LS1 in it.

I came from the import world (VW Rabbits) and grew tired of spending a small fortune to get just a few horsepower. Then in 2001, I bought a Datsun 280Z that someone had put a mild Chevy 350 into. The performance was unbelievable, and I've been hooked ever since. I wound up putting a twin turbo 383 into that thing and now I have gobs of reliable, streetable power. Are there any Honduh's that can keep up with me? Maybe, but they are rare and they would have to be trailer queens, not daily drivers if they are honest. I'm now doing my second Japanese/LS swap, an LS7 into an FD3S. You are working on an awesome combo. Just don't take it drifting, which is the slow way around a racetrack

ls7 fd is wow. thats about all i can fathom. im building for the most part a road race car that i will drive to and from to the track. to me if your car can last on the track and perform well its a true "car". to hell with this lets be fast for a few seconds and hope nothing happens crap or lets go figure skating on pavement because everyone is doing it lol. that to me is a waste of a good platform. atleast for this car
