Not a Newb, but need help
Not a Newb, but need help I have been on the site for quite some time, mainly dealing with the GM truck site. But have owned a few LS1's in the past.
For years my father has not shared my interest in modifing the vehicles, thought it was a waste of money, but he has just recently retired, and needs a hobby. He owns a 2000 LS1 Z28 and is wanting to finally do so mods to it. Its a NBM hardtop A4, bone stock, and probably in the range of 40,000 original miles. I have been giving him ideas, and good possible mods for it, but he doesn't really know right off hand what exactly he is looking to do. And the problem is that he DOES NOT have access to the internet. Trust me, I'm trying to convince him of that one too. LOL. So, other than the internet, are there any good aftermarket accessory and performance catalogs available for the F-Bodies and LS1? He had ordered one a few weeks ago, but it was mostly restoration and OEM parts. I have looked in my CHP and GMHTP magazines but not really seen anything there to help.
I know him not having internet is a hinderance, and he lives too far away from me to visit too often to surf the net.

Some of the sponsors put out LS1 vehicle specific catalogs, I'm retty sure. Check Texas Speed and Performance and ls1speed.com. Also check SLP's website. Again, other than that, I'm not sure.
Of course, all the normal parts catalogs have LS1 sections now.

Thanks. I did tell him about Summit Racing and Jegs for sure. Didn't know if some of the site sponsers had print catalogs or not or if there was something I wasn't thinking of.

Year One , RK Sport , Classic Industries , Summit Racing , Jegs. Some that I can think of right off the bat. Alot of them have restoration parts , but they also have some performance mods. RK Sport has alot of aftermarket appearance mods too.
