hey guys What's up. I currently own a 300zx, and may be selling it for something else, one big possibility being a 98-02 V8 Camaro. I just signed up to learn some specifics.
How's the room in the car? One of the reasons I'm selling is because my car is a 2 seater with decent trunk space, and I need something that I can haul stuff for 5 hours from home to college.
What years are the most reliable? (I already read the faq's talking about specific differences) And how reliable are these cars in general?
Gas mileage, daily driveability, fun factor in automatics
That's pretty much it. Just looking for inputs. I'll test drive before buying of course, but I want a feeler of the car.
Also, how hard is it to find one for $10K>

hey, welcome to the site. umm, there is decent room in the car, nothing to write home about. in a coupe the trunk goes pretty deep, but if you have t-tops off, they take up some room. as far as reliability goes, between my brothers and i have owned 1 98 ss, 2 '99 ss's and 2 '02 ss and never had any real problems that i can think of. mileage: when i bought my '99 ss i flew to colorado to pick it up and drove it home. there were three of us in the car. at 82mph in 6th gear i got 27mpg. then i blew a tire and wasn't able to get one that was just the right fit and had to keep it at about 65 mph. i got just over 34mpg. of those 5 ss's, 2 were automatics. i thought that they were plenty of fun, but nothing compares to a stick. as far as daily driving, i have at times used my camaros as daily drivers and at times had other vehicles that i used as my daily. i loved keeping my camaro a garage queen, but everytime i took it out, it made me not want to drive anything else. so yea, i love driving my f-body every day. hope this helps somewhat.
