There are many people that go 100-150K on the original opti with no problems.
The pain is and issue with opti's is that they sit behind the waterpump and replacing them has to be done absolutely perfect.
(besides being a hassle to change)
Im no more worried about my opti then you are about your spark plugs and I got 115K on my Z28.

haha, there is a rochester f-body club, I don't belong to them, but they do exist, unfortunately I don't work hours that allow me to make a lot of their events but they are a great group of guys.
