Great car, great price, screw all these guys, the body kit looks great, you just need some rims to set the car off.

Not everyone.

I don't care for the CME or the SAP on Camaros. They look cleaner without either one, because both of those setups look like afterthoughts that don't match the rest of the car, IMO.

As for L36Camaro's car (I'm guessing the L36 is because you used to own a V6 Camaro?), first order of business is to de-haze those headlights! Wet sanding may be necessary, and/or plastic cleaner and polish.

Good deal on the car though.

Great looking car and you got it at an awesome price. I would definately work on the headlights however makes the whole front end look cleaner. I personally love the body kit but i also own a 2001 artic white z with the body panels. It's all based on personal preference, who cares what other people think. Some wheels will definately help set the kit off however. I have chrome c5 z06 wheels and they look great with that setup. Congrats and let the modding begin!

Thanks everybody for the nice comments!

And yes, I drove a 2000 V6 Camaro w/ Bolt-ons, 4.10 gears, and tuning, and thought it was so fast, until I drove my LS1!!! The LS1 is SOOO much faster, and it’s STOCK!

My V6 is my first car (I‘ll never sell it), so I gave it to my mom as a daily driver.

My mom’s credit score is 780, so that’s why we got such a good deal on the Z28. She signed for it, and I paid the down payment, and the now the monthly payments.

I’m only 17 yrs old, I couldn’t sign for it anyway. LOL

I’m Italian-American, so I got a GREAT job at a fine dinning Italian restaurant 1 mile away from my house. I’m good friends with the owners now, so I make plenty of money to pay for the LS1.

The restaurant is called Caffe Positano.

Congrats on the purchase. And like a few already said, I would dump the body kit and sell it. Then use what money you got for lid or something else useful.

When I showed everyone my Z28 at my job, all day after they were saying stuff like: a 350Z will beat it; it’s not that fast; oh my prelude will kill you in the top end; I bet it wont even hit 130 mph; my brother has an Infinity G35 that will beat you; stuff like that.

Either there jealous, or just have no respect for the almighty LS1!!! LOL

I don’t want to race anybody because I HATE street racing, and nobody wants to go to the track with me accept for the kid with the prelude.

I think there just jealous!!!

Tell them to do some research and stop speaking until then. That should **** them off and shut them up at the same time!

Nope. I purchased it only 10 miles from my house at USA Auto Center in Winter Park. It was listed on Auto Trader, that’s how I found it.

Here’s the story how I got such a good deal.

I went and test drove a 2002 SOM Z28 w/ 88,000 miles for $13,000. It was a DOOGG!!! The motor was sooo tired it had hardly any power. I knew the LS1 should be faster because my friend gave me a ride in his dads 01 vette.

So I stayed up all night deciding what I should do. So just for fun, I looked through auto trader's website for low mileage Z28's, and they were all way to expensive. Except for ONE!!! So I clicked on it, and it sounded to good to be true, 45,000 miles, mint condition, only $12,000!! It's exactly what I wanted. So I stayed up the rest of the night until 8am, so I could call first thing to go look at it. I looked it over for about 15 minutes (I checked everything), and then took it for a test drive. It ran super smooth compared to the other one, then I got on it, it threw me back in the seat and pulled like crazy!!! I think it's as fast as that 01 vette I was in. I had to have it!!! So I put $500 down on it so he couldn't sell it, and I waited all day until my mom got off of work to co-sign for it with her awesome credit. We went and signed for it and were out of there in an hour!

I love this car!!! It's sooo perfect!

I already bought the GC 0w30 "made in Germany" oil; and I ordered an SLP lid from the WS6 Store.
