Howdy
I've been Lurking here reading and learning for the past couple months, figured it was about time to introuduce myself.
I work for a speed shop in Lexington KY that specializes in Supra's and Evos, with the occasional LS1, or Terminator. We focus on forced induction setups, dyno tuning, and fadricate many parts in house for our customer cars. I specialize in engine management, wiring harnesses, and calibration. I also fabricate some, and do everything else as needed.
I'm ASE certified (Engine Repair, Manual Drive Train and Axles, Suspension and Steering, Brakes, Electrical/Electronics Systems, Engine Performance) Two more tests and I'll be a master tech, and i've been working on cars since 99. I just got into the LS1's back in March, so i've been on a steep learning curve these past few months.
My old car, a 90 Mits Eclipse AWD ran low 10's and trapped in the 140's, turbocharged, with a built 2.0l engine, nice electronics package and a little spray. It wasn't reliable or consistent, so I sold it and bought a Vette, so far the vette ahs been both reliable on the street, and consistent at the track. I love it.
Anyway, thats my intro.
Holla,
