Get the LS1 and don't look back, cause you'll just see the mustangs behind you
Seriously Mustangs are nice too but the LSX engines are great!

A nice after market set of heads, and a nice cam and they move out well!

Meh, all I bought was an engine and a tranny and some suspension. The company had made hundreds of hte motors and said I should run low 13's. Screw me for beliving a company that had been around for a quarter of a century

Yeah, I still dispise the old 5.0, lol, but it is a FUN car and it makes power up to 6K and keeps on making it! insane! its like a little 4-banger, lol.

In all honesty, the mustang was okay for what it is, the LS1 is just better across the board. (except for the rear end).

That can't be right. My former 2K 3.8 v6 firebird ran 14.7 @ 96 MPH peg legging it w/ 2.2 60'. Mods were 3" catback/lid/FRA.

Hell, my car went 14.3@97.54 with a 2.15 and I had heads (GT40P), Cam (X303), 4.10's and FULL bolt-ons with a 5-speed. Mustangs arent cool NA. (not the 2V variety at least).
