Ive read all 16 Pages of this damn thread and i dont think anyone was being an *******! it was simple speaking their mind and trying to teach him a lesson! and yet im a lurker... hey hex look over here!!!! im 21 & i got my first car when i was 19, my 2002 z28 that i own now(still my DD), i bought it myself, but one night me and a buddy went out to get some denny's, i got alil to heavy on the gas and..........well look at the pix, i f#cked my rear, not one but two brand new z06 rims, all i got to say im lucky i didnt hit that light pole thats was bout 10ft from were i ended up, but from the bad comes some good, look what i got now "sig" and look at my last two pix. i learned alot, that happened only 1 month and 2 days after i bought the car.

congrats on the purchase! TRY and keep your foot out of it cuz a bad decision will change your life in a heartbeat. I bought my LT1 as a graduation present to myself when i was 16 (yeah i finished high school @16yrs old), against my parents advice nonetheless. But i have been working full time and going to college so its well deserved. When i finish next year at the university im getting a Zo6 as a graduation present again and my little bro might get my car since he's finishing high school. All i can say is respect the car, and dont be a jackass while driving the car.
BTW: a few weeks ago a 16yr old kid and his 15-16y.o friends went on a joyride in his Dad's 02 WS6 and crashed head on into a minivan with kids in it going 65mph+ while passing a car. kid lived, friend died, other in bad shape, and the one's in the minivan were critical. dont mean to scare you but make the right decisions, please!!!

my friend got a special edition SLP 99 WS-6 A4 Red with all bolt ons SLP makes for the WS-6's and a gear. it was made by SLP for a fellow but then he wanted to get a more family car. 6 hrs maybe if that much after he got it he flipped it and totaled it. be careful and dont be stupid respect the car.

Hey, welcome to the site, im 17 and got my 98 Z28 a year ago last november when i was 16. I know how awesome it feels to have such an amazing car at such a young age. Its also pretty cool to have the fastest and nicest car at my high school, so im sure you will find it pretty cool too. Have fun with the beast, and treat it right (im sure you will).
