new with a story just wanted to say hey and tell ya a bit about how i wound up deciding to buy a LS1..
Right now i have a 06 Charger R/T completely stock, great car smoooth ride but i am deciding this will be my daily driver and i will have my weekend warrior coming soon
i started out thinking 03-04 cobra quick and VERY cheap to mod, but i couldn't find one for the right price, everything overpriced left and right and the lack of color i want, surprisingly i couldn't find a black cobra when that is the hight production color for cobra lol so i moved on.
my friend has a LS1 T/A, i've always loved the cars especially the ws6 and i can't believe how cheap they are, my friend bought a T/A 50kmiles $10,000 m6
while i was searching a came across a high mileage c5 and for ****'s n giggles did a few searches on there prices and was VERY suprised i looked up a few coupes and z06's and i came across one to my likings. Black on Black m6 c5 low miles $21,000 fiananced, and i'll put a nice down payment(income tax!) and b all set. i want it to be very streetable but run around a low 11's(im not greedy
) maybe high 10's
this is will be mine as of the end of the week
i will continue reading on your projects and searching for info learning a bit more about these LS1's and keep u guys updated as well

thanks i love the vettes but i am also a fan of alot of cars, i just didnt know the vette would ever be in my price range, they have a z06 for $25k, im debating whether or not i should get it and if i can afford the extra $6k

If the ZO6 is an '01 then fugitaboutit! Keep looking and find an '02-'04 ZO6. You will not be happy with the base vette.

my mistake i was thinking of the vette being 19k, and yes the z06 is listed at $26,000 with 51,000 miles, alothought the speed is nice, i kinda like the notchback style of the coupes rather than the z06
