Default New torque addict in FL here

I'm a long time poster and contributor to internet forums, but as I'm just joining here I figured I'd say howdy!

I'm from Central FL, and a long time import driver (Supercharged MX-5, RX-7s, RX-8s, etc...), but now drive an LS6 Cadillac CTS-V and am totally addicted to the sound and the torque. Mods so far include Corsa Catback, Z06 clutch/flywheel (way lighter than the Caddy setup), LPE intake and cross-drilled rotors to go with my factory Brembo brake setup. Will be ordering soon: Kooks or TPiS long tube headers and MSD blaster coil packs.

I've had the car for a while now, but I decided to stop lurking here for info and start posting. This is a great site, and I look forward to being part of the community.

are you having trouble with your factory coils? I have not heard of any one picking up power from the MSD units. For the money I think you'd be better off having your car proffessionally dyno tuned, or install a bigger cam or some nitrous

Thanks for the welcome, everybody!

Here's a few pics of the ride:

Please ignore the "trash can lid" engine cover- I just ordered one of ~JOSHUA's Carbon Fiber intake covers, which should be here in 2 weeks.

As far as the MSD, I've talked to 2 CTS-V owners with these, and I know it won't add much power (if any). It's more of a driveability mod, as it increases throttle response and the multiple sparks eliminate the burble on decel (thanks to a more complete burn). After the headers and the MSD, I plan on having it tuned if I decide not to cam it. If I go with the cam, I'll obviously wait until after for the tune.

Leesburg, right in between Orlando and Gainesville. There's NO ONE around here to get together with, except one guy in Ocala with a Silver V with headers and a tune. I'll be checking the FL forum to find some get togethers for sure.
