Ex Lurker hello,
lurked alot and posted some, thought i say hey. after a 5 year hiatus w\o a
hotrod ( i sold a '69 gto ) for a house upgrade. i bought a '02 b4c ex texas car. black, black windows, looks like a 3800 car less the z28 tips out back.
wifey says shes glad the windows are dark that way people can't see the old codgers in it and laugh i'm 50 she's 48. i was easy on on her first couple times out first time i hammered it it brought back memories to her of the '70 ss chevelle i had when we were dating. i get this speech about my 2nd childhood.
hell i have not finished the first one yet.
imediate plans for the car are cutout elec. cai, 180 stat, throttle body mods and a tune. i've got tunercat obd2 and a roadrunner just have to take it out of the p\u. gotta get a base line first though dyno and test and tune. i'm thinkin 13.7 with my dumb *** driving. later on sfc and a mild cam. this will not be a drag car,DD
me i've been turning wrenches at the same place 20 years next month, been full time mech 32 yrs. ase master tech trk. but that does not mean i'm very smart. i'm a rocket scientist or a dumb *** no in between. got a hell of a data base though alldata\mitchell will help those that help me and probably those that don't.
