Just bought a 2001 SS.. Hey i've been around here for quite some time, but I have finally purchased an LS1 car. It's a 2001 Red SS, m6, t-tops...completely stock. It's a very nice car and i'm already in love.

Welcome! I just did the same thing. I've been on this board for a while and then I got my first LS1 Sunday. It's an '01 SS as well! I suppose that you're coming to the same realizations that I am: that they are AWESOME cars!

yeah, the exhaust doesen look stock and ive never seen cloth interior on an SS. I thought leather was standard, maybe the original owner asked for cloth and u have a very rare car in that aspect. If u really want leather though, these cars are like lego cars, i swapped out my interior, to include door panels for a friends leather interior and it loos lie it came that way. nice ride though, nothin better than a red SS!
