awsome deal on a 01SS hey guys i am new to the site. sorry its kinda long im excited! i just got what i think was an awsome deal on ma car tell me what u think i just bought a 2001 ss 6 speed with 75k for 12.5k when i bought it i was told it was stock aside from the obviouse, bran new ZO6 wheels and tires and a Borla cat back. now i have never owned a LS1 car before, (rode in numerous cams, birds and vetts) i thought this car felt strong for stock. after out runing a 06 gto that put down 415 at the whls on the dyno i knew somthin was up. the car was a one owner car got traided in to the dealer and then i bought it. so i tracked down the original owner. come to find out that the motor went out at about 35k (claimed it just droped oil pressure and spun a bering) he took it to the dealer and one thing lead to another and the end result was a brand new LS6 got put in it (already checked the casting # its for real) he went on to send me reciepts for port and posished heads numerous free mods and other lil things and a dyno sheet of 412 to the wheels!!! the car runs like a new one and looks perfect! so how did i do?
