First Timer
Hi the name is Robert L. Penn. A buddy of mine turned me on to this site. He post on this board alot, but right now I do not know his URL. I know my car is not a camro, or tran am like most of yall's. But I like to frequent other board's to get ideas. That maybe I can use on my Nova. I work Security for Nasa here in Houston. I live on the south side of Houston in Clear Lake. My current car is a 65 Nova wagon. That has been back halfed and has ladder bar's. It also has a 10 pt cage in it. The stock floor's have been cut out and tin put in it's place. The car run's 32x14x15 Good Year slick's. The motor Is a 427 sbc(Merlin II block) some Dart Pro 1 head's. A fuller roller cam. MSD crank triger. MSD Ignition with rev limiter and retard system. T-350 tranny with a 4500 stall. Ford 9" rear, braced. strange alu. center section. 35 spline strange axle's. Spool, 4.86 Pro gear's. QA1 coil over's all the way around. Willwood disc brakes all the way around. The rear disc have two brake calipers on them. To help hold the car at the line. Foot brake car, but does have a Tran's bake that I am going to hook back up. Also the car has a Chris Alston front clip. The hood and the bumper's are fiber glass. The front windshield is glass and the rest of them are Lexan . I just bought the car 3 week's ago and took it out to the track for the first time Saturday night. It ran pretty much what the last owner said it would. ET:6.63 at 103.90(1/8). Like I said before I like to vist other board's, just to see what is going on. And to get some idea's for mine. You never know what you are going to see and hear on other board's

Looks like a pretty sweet car, I was in the market for a 2d 1st or 2nd gen Nova about a year ago, and I couldn't believe the prices people were asking for their rusted out cars. It was insane! I still would love to have one as a strip only car, but as of right now my TA will do.
