Gettin my first bird

Hey guys hows it goin? im not really new to the site but im hopin to be a new owner of a trans am. There is a guy by me seelin his 2000 trans am for 15,500. now i looked it up online and its only worth like 14,5 tops. I think his askin price is reasonable because he is the only owner of the car and he bought it new in 2000. The car is pewter and fully loaded and only has 22,000 miles on it. I test drove the car and it ran like a dream compared to my buddies 98 z which is still a great car and a 02 ws6 i almost got. Its got brand new tires on it and the front has a cuople very small chips from rocks and stuff but thats expected. this car is like in mint conditon. its beautiful. The other reason why i might buy the car is that he desnt seem like a he kind of guy that wuold take alot of risks and beat on his car. so with all that being said i would just like to kno what you guys think about it. do u think its a good deal? personally i do but i would just like to kno a couple of opinions.

Well welcome anyway. I would TRY to talk this dude down a little, but if you like it, and want it bad enough, do what ya gotta do. I would also look around while you keep that one in mind.

yeah ill try to talk him down a lil but i have been lookin for an f-body for about 6 months now. where i live its hard to come a cross an f-body and one like this is crzy but yeah i prolly will talk him down

Just make sure that's what you want, don't wanna regret it. My opinion is, if there is any feelings that it's not right, then don't do it. But hey, that's just me. I think $15,500 is a little steep, but then again, with only 22,000 original miles he may be able to get that for it. It's hard to find f-bodies with low mileage like that. Well good luck with it!

So the bank approved and i picked it up this morning. this car is great. I already dusted a mustang gt. man gotta love it.

Welcome and congrats on the ride. I don't think that 15,500 is high for a bird with that mileage. People that tell you its high have not shopped for a low mileage bird in a while.
