hi, new to the site. just got a '02 firebird trans am. i absolutely love it! its got those nice corvette wheels (z06) and a nice exhaust. haha i wasnt even supposed to get this car i was ready to drive off in a new acura TL and drove by a Dodge dealer with 3 used Firebirds parked out front by the road. I pulled in and test drove one and well... ...one thing led to another and now the acura dealer is left wondering why one of his customers didnt get back to him haha. cant wait to ask stupid questions about ls1's from experts out there. thanks for this site!

well do you have a Trans-am WS6 or a Firebird WS6? You can't have them all. If you have one large foglight in the middle of your bumper hen its a TA. Also, if you have a high-ride spoiler with the bridge, then it's a TA. If you have a solid spoiler or two lights at the far end of the bumper, it's a Fireturd. I mean Firebird, haha. Just trying to get you used to the nicknames.

 

yeah well there's my newbie-ness so yeah trans am ws6 im sure - i thought all trans ams were firebirds - ah well its a sweet ride here are the pics...

 

Your right all Trans Ams are firebirds, but most people here refer to them as only a Trans Am. When you mention Firebird most people think V6. Welcome to the club
