LT1 guy checking in (soon to be LS1 owner) Figured I would say hello. I am currently in the market for an 02 SS, havin a hard time finding what i want though, TTops, leather and a 6speed with under 50k miles. (Posted in the vehicles wanted forum) I'm sure i will get my hands on one soon enough tho. So I know the typical problems with fbodies (being on my second LT1), but other than basic stuff are there any LS1 specific problems some of you higher mileage guys are having?
Welcome bro and for your question I only have 54,xxx on mine 00 WS6. I can say don't have any problem the one's that most happen like 3rd gear popping out and window motor going out. That is about all the problem's I have (Thank God LOL). Well good luck on your seardh and trust me when I tell you will love have an LS1 not for just the more power but it being a Coil Pack set up then that crapy Opti under the water pump

figured I would post up and say i am the PROUD owner of a MINT SOM 01 SS with ttops and a 6speed. I bought it from "orange ss" who is a GREAT seller and a very honest guy who took immaculate care of this car and I greatly appreciate that, my hat's off to you man. it was a pleasure doing business with you!
