From RX-8 to SS
From RX-8 to SS Hey guys, what's up? Right now I have an RX-8, but I'm selling it. Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome car. It's pretty, it handles like a dream, and it's got a lot of style. But it's also extremely slow.
I'm going to buy a Camaro SS soon...with lots of mods to follow. I'm planning on being Procharged. I'd rather sacrifice a little beauty for a LOT of grunt.
Can't wait to own an LS1!

Sounds like a good deal. I acctually dont care for the way those cars look but they do handle well, I raced my stock SS against what seemed to be a stock or at least mostly stock RX-8 on the road course and they were pretty even. He reeled me in on the corners but beat the **** out of him on the straights. This was on a course more designed for cornering but in the end I still came out on top! Good luck and get some pictures!

Looks are subjective, you know? The Camaro certainly looks good too - that's why I'm getting one. I'm sure I'll enjoy this SS much more than I'm enjoying my RX-8.
Bad GTO said it best - going from a torque-less wonder to having plenty of it! Plus it helps going from 150whp to 300whp.
I'll post some pictures when I end up buying one. I haven't decided on a color yet - the three 'Maros I'm looking at are Red, Black, and SOM. All are T-tops which is great.

From what I've seen, the SS will take a little getting used to in the turns so you don't spin around. Snap neck torque has a great price... traction Enjoy

So far the one at the top of my list is a SOM.
Sounds like I will have to get used to the power in the curves - gotta learn to respect all that power.
