Default Just got my first LS1 and...
I wanted to intoduce my self to everyone. I am sure I will have boat loads of questions, but I am not a total stranger to the garage. My WS6 needs some new rotors, and brakes, and a little tlc in the paint dept, but I am very pleased. what a great all around machine.

I just picked up my 2000 Z28 like 9 days ago and I agree...awesome cars...I went with ATE rotors and Hawk HPS pads...it's a nice combo, the pedal effort is nice, the car continues to have stopping power when the brakes are HOT and they're not really bad when cold like some pads have been.

get some drilled and slotted rotors and some good pads, ebay is a good place for some good prices

Don't waste your time/money on drilled and slotted rotors, they are prone to cracking.

Congrats, nice car in a badass color.

They eat up pads to, and hawk pads are not exactly cheap to replace. Just stick with some good blanks, youll be fine without the cross drilling, or slotted.

Congrats on the car. Ive had mine about 3 mo's. Everyweekend i try to mod it. The more you do, the more you get addicted.

I heard the stock GM pads are actually one of the best. Check them out CFH2004. And welcome abord.
